I am currently checking out online polls options for my blog.
I have already setup the default “embedded” poll in my blog (see it on the right side). The setting was straight forward – with only a few clicks, the poll was up and ready in the blog. What if you need a poll outside the blog - on your website - or in your blog article?
The first option I checked was PollDaddy.com
The site lets you create surveys as well as polls.
It has quite cool options like:
- selection of skins to choose from or create your own in CSS.
- online reporting in real time of your data as it is collected.
- surveys delivery by direct link or popup.
- direct HTML insert allowing you to add pictures, video and more.
- foreign language support
- export your data as XML, CSV etc.
Today I will create a quick poll. (I will check the survey another time).
I have created a free account. The free account limits the number of responses to your survey and displays the “PollDaddy” logo and link.
Pro accounts are available for a monthly or yearly fee. The Pro account offer enhanced options and the “PollDaddy” link is removed from the survey or polls.
It took a few minutes to create the poll. Check it out below.
