Time magazine’s “100 The Most Influential People in The World” list is out and I feel motivated.
Most of these guys are doing tremendous good for the whole World.
Among my favorites are:
- The Dalai Lama – the always spiritual and peaceful.
- Sonia Gandhi – the Italian born who became a symbol in her adoptive country, India.
- Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie – the inspiring happy and good looking international family.
- Sheik Mohammed al_Maktoum – the visionary ruler who made Dubai the Globalization Star without much help from petro-dollars.
- Michael Bloomberg – the NYC mayor who rides the train to work (just as I do).
- Mary Lou Jepsen – the brains behind the "One Laptop Per Child" machine.
- Paul Allen – the smart and cool who - besides co-founding Microsoft ages ago - manages to always stay at the frontiers of knowledge (i.e. SpaceShipOne).
- Isaac Berzin – the chemist engineer who uses algae to transform the (bad) carbon dioxide into the (good) bio-fuel. I believe in this process! (Consider it for your next long term investment).
- Suze Orman – the "Money Lady" who taught many of us how to better manage our money.
- Steve Ballmer – the very energetic CEO who is after to get Yahoo and Google and to win the war on online advertisement and search.
- Ratan Tata – the mogul of the Tata Group who - as an Indian friend of mine put it - reshaped the future for millions of Indians.
I recommend the list to anyone looking for a role model. Check it out here:
