My favorite Japanese invention by far is "coffee in a can".
Available at any vending machine: cold or hot; black, latte, au lait, with sugar, you name it; and priced between 90 to 120 yen.
The quality? Great!
It successfully replaced my twice a day “Tall Americano” at Starbucks for the last 10 years.
Hmm... I just realized I’ve spent almost $ 20,000 on coffee in 10 years.
($ 2.65 x 2 x 365 x 10 = $ 19,345)

20K!!! Yikes, you and me both! I easily spend more than that on coffee everyday. No wonder Starbucks is filthy rich!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I used to own Starbucks stock thinking – what I spend on coffee one way it will come back through stock gain the other way. It also had a nice feeling of buying coffee from your own little coffee shop. Luckily I sold before SBUX went sour. :)
