Looking down from Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower is not very well known outside Japan, and many foreigners, when see it for the first time (including me), are not sure what to think about the obvious similarity with the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It was built in 1958 to show Japan’s technical capabilities to the world. Built 69 years after the completion of Eiffel Tower, it stands 9 meters higher. The view of the city is fantastic - I recommend visiting while in Tokyo.
